Inspired by true events, a family (father, mother, two daughters) moves into an old cottage in Essex, England.  Soon after, they are repeatedly terrorized by a dark presence in their new home.  After doing some research on the history of the residence, they quickly learn why:  the cottage was once referred to as, The Cage, and was a medieval prison and temporary 'home" to many women (witches), including England's most notorious witch Ursula Kemp, who was accused of witchcraft and hanged in 1582.
